About
Who you actually work with.
Tilth Health Strategies is an independent commercial advisory firm built around a simple premise: emerging biopharma companies deserve the same caliber of commercial thinking that large pharmaceutical organizations take for granted, delivered at a scale they can use.
Founder
Jason Spitz
Jason founded Tilth Health Strategies after more than three decades in pharmaceutical and biotech commercial leadership, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer at ARSTAT Pharmaceuticals, where he led commercial strategy for a Phase III-ready women's health candidate. His work spans women's health, oncology and hematology, and allergy and respiratory medicine, on both sides of the size divide: a global pharmaceutical business, and clinical-stage companies preparing a first launch.
He spent nine years at TherapeuticsMD building the commercial organization behind three FDA-approved women's health products: IMVEXXY, BIJUVA, and ANNOVERA. He owned cross-functional launch readiness for all three, alongside marketing, corporate communications, and investor relations. In the same period he built vitaPearl into a prenatal vitamin franchise generating over $20 million in revenue, founded the company's in-house advertising agency, and ran patient recruitment for the Phase 3 REJOICE and REPLENISH trials.
Earlier, as General Manager for Canada at MGI Pharma, he stood up the company's first subsidiary outside the US and exceeded its sales and EBIT targets, directing worldwide commercial development of the oncology and hematology franchises through MGI's 2008 acquisition by Eisai. At Aesgen he co-led the partnering and acquisition strategy that produced a merger with MGI Pharma valued in excess of $100 million. He began at Schering-Plough, where over sixteen years he moved from field sales to global oncology marketing director by way of the Nasonex brand.
He holds a BBA in Marketing from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
He works with a small number of clients at a time, by design.

How I work
Four commitments that shape every engagement.
You work with me directly
You get me, not an analyst working from my notes. I build the model, and I present the findings.
Recommendations you can resource
Advice that assumes budget and headcount you don't have is worse than no advice. Every recommendation is sized against what your organization can actually execute.
Assumptions stay visible
Forecasts and market models rest on judgment calls. I surface those calls, label them, and leave them open to challenge, including from your board.
A small number of clients
I limit capacity on purpose. Attention is the thing you're paying for, and taking on more engagements than I can cover would erode it.
The firm
Tilth Health Strategies, LLC
Tilth Health Strategies, LLC is an independent consultancy formed in 2026 and based in Boynton Beach, Florida. The firm operates virtually, so there is no office to visit. Being a US-based entity is what matters to most clients: Tilth contracts and works in US business hours, and I travel on-site when a project calls for it.
Tilth: the physical condition of soil in relation to plant growth. The ground made ready before anything is planted in it.
Let's talk about your launch.
Whether it's years out or already in motion, an early conversation costs nothing and usually clarifies more than it takes.
